Samsung has started serving the refinements and fixes of the September 2023 One UI update to Galaxy S20 devices. This new update has arrived with the aim to rectify some common issues of the system and improve its stability for an optimized and more seamless user experience.
In addition, the September 2023 security patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user’s privacy and data. Hence, it’s a crucial upgrade, that will uplift the device’s performance and offer better functionality by improving the core mechanism.
Also, the consumers of Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra will be able to identify the September 2023 update via the One UI build version G980FXXSIHWHI, G985FXXSIHWHI, and G988FXXSIHWHI respectively.
Consequently, the patch is initially released in Switzerland and will expand to more market users in the coming days. To access the update visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
