List of eligible Samsung devices for monthly and quarterly security updates [May 2020]

Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the details of the May 2020 security patch, but it has updated the list of eligible Samsung devices for monthly and quarterly security updates.

Changes:

  • Samsung removes the Galaxy S8 and S8+ from the monthly security update list and places them to the quarterly list.
  • In the quarterly device list, Samsung added newly launched the Galaxy A11, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A71 5G.
  • It also added Galaxy M11 and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in the quarterly device list
