Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are getting a new software update on the T-Mobile network in the US. The latest software update brings important improvements in the camera department. It improves the stability of the camera.
Additionally, a new camera function has been added, QR code reader. It also includes the August 2019 security patch.

The software version of this update is G950USQU6DSH8 and G955USQU6DSH8 for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively.
If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by heading into the Settings > Software update.
