These OnePlus devices won’t get the OxygenOS 14 update
Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 testing is underway and already available for some OnePlus smartphone users. The company also started the Android 14 beta testing for its smartphones including OnePlus 11.
The latest OnePlus flagship will be the first to receive the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, according to the previous OxygenOS rollout history. The device will get up to 4 major Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.

OnePlus has recently updated its software update policy for smartphones. The latest policy allows up to 3 years of software support for flagship devices. The company will give up to 3 major Android upgrades to the OnePlus 10 series, the OnePlus 9 series, and the OnePlus 8 series. Other OnePlus series including Nord devices will get up to 2 major Android upgrades.

These OnePlus devices won’t receive OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14:
- OnePlus 8/8 Pro
- OnePlus 7/7T series
- OnePlus Nord 2 5G
- OnePlus Nord N20 5G
- OnePlus Nord N200 5G
- OnePlus Nord CE 5G
- OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G
Note:
- The status of the OnePlus 8T is unclear, the device should get the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 update, which will be 3rd major Android OS. Based on the previous OxygenOS rollout history, the device won’t get the next major OxygenOS update.
