US Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Note 10 grabs June 2022 security update

Samsung has started seeding its eligible devices with the latest July 2022 security patch but there are still some devices left over that have not gained the June patch yet, and one of them is the Galaxy Note 10 devices. Owners of these devices are now getting the old June patch.

Recently, Samsung began sending the June 2022 Android security patch update for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Note 10 devices. Earlier the update was released for unlocked models of the devices in the US. Users can identify the latest update via the One UI build version mentioned below.

  • Galaxy Note 10 – N970USQU7HVF1
  • Galaxy Note 10 5G – N976USQU7HVF1
  • Galaxy Note 10+ – N975USQU7HVF1

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 July 2022 security patch update brings fixes for several bugs and issues in order to provide users with seamless performance and to increase the user experience. Other than this the changelog doesn’t mention any new features or changes for the device.

Additionally, Samsung’s June 2022 security patch details mention fixes for 66 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities and exploits. 48 of these issue fixes were provided by Google, while Samsung’s software team fixed others.
