Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 getting June 2021 security patch in the US
In August, the Galaxy Note 9 flagship will be launched for three years, but Samsung still provides new software updates every month. A few days back, this device received the latest Android patch in Germany, and the company is now rolling out the same firmware to unlocked devices in the US.

As per the information, the Galaxy Note 9 began receiving the June 2021 security patch update in the US. This update comes with build version N960U1UEU8FUE1, which fixes Google’s 47 CVEs and Samsung’s 19 SVE to improve system security.
Also, this OTA has improved the Quick Share tool for enhancing file sharing between Galaxy devices. However, the Galaxy Note 9 has lost eligibility for any major software updates, which means it will spend the rest of the time running One UI 2.5 on top of the Android 10 operating system.
As always, Samsung will release a new Galaxy Note 9 June 2021 security patch update in phases, so it may take some time to provide each unlocked device in the United States. Earlier, you can manually check for updates by navigating to your device Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
