Verizon Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2 received One UI 4.1 (Android 12) alongside March patch

Recently, Verizon released a major update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G users in the US. Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update. It brings a bundle of new features and improvements for better device performance.

Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with the build version F926USQU1CVC5 and F916USQU2GVC5 respectively. The update is gradually rolling out so it may take some time or days to reach all devices in the US.

The latest update also improves system security by installing the Android patch released in March 2022. It fixes for 62 vulnerabilities, exploits, and threats including 2 critical, 29 high, and 19 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and Samsung.

Further, the One UI 4.1 update adds several features such as Live Sharing in Google Duo, RAM Plus, App Cast in Smart View, Game Booster Labs, and Camera and Gallery enhancements.

How to update:

  • Open your device Settings.
  • Then, click on the System updates.
  • Tap on the Download and install button.
  • After installing, reboot your device and it’s done.

Note: Make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network or it has a strong Verizon wireless network connection. Your device battery must be fully charged before starting the software update.
