Verizon releases April 2023 update for these 6 Samsung Galaxy devices in US

Verizon is rolling out the April 2023 Android security update for a bunch of Samsung Galaxy devices in the US. The latest firmware has arrived with the aim to make your device more safe and secure. Consequently, the update will also promote the functioning of your device by improving the core mechanism.

As per the information, the April 2023 security update is rolling out for a total of 6 Verizon bounded Galaxy devices in the US, including Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy A10e, and Galaxy A20. Therefore, the update will also be available soon for other network users in the country.

The April 2023 security patch will improve the security and stability of your Galaxy devices and make them perform more seamlessly. Additionally, it also offers protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults, to maintain the reliability of the system and make it perform more accurately than before.

April 2023 update – Software Version 

The users of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G will be able to identify the April 2023 firmware update via the MIUI build version F926USQU3FWD3 and F711USQU4FWD3 respectively.

Additionally, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ owners are collecting the patch with One UI build versions G973USQS8IWC1 and G975USQS8IWC1. Also, the patch has arrived with the build A205USQSECWC1 and A102USQSFCWC3 for Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e respectively.

However, some of these devices have already collected the improvements of the latest patch in other countries, whereas, for some devices like the Galaxy S10 lineup, it’s an initial rollout and will expand to more users in the coming days or weeks. Just keep calm and wait for your turn.

How to update manually 

Thus, if you are operating any of the mentioned devices in the US, then you can check and download the latest firmware manually, by following some simple steps. Visit the Settings of your Galaxy device, then tap on the Software and Update sections, and hit the Download and Install key.
