Verizon brings three new camera functions to users of the US Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, and Galaxy S10 5G smartphones. In addition, this software also includes a security patch released in April 2021, which improves system security and thus has better privacy.
According to the latest information, the Galaxy Note 20 series has obtained three camera functions from the Galaxy S21 series, which are called “Professional Mode”-“Ultra Wide”, “Portrait”-“Mono/Background Effect” and “Auto Night Mode”. At the same time, Galaxy S10 5G also has all camera functions except portrait-mono/background effects.
The new firmware update comes with version numbers: N981USQU2DUCA, N986USQU2DUCA, and G977UVRU6FUCD for Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, and S10 5G. Since this is the first launch, it may take longer to be used on all listed smartphones in the United States.

After this version, Galaxy Note 20 and S10 5G phone owners can now use the ultra-wide camera in Pro and Pro Video camera modes. In addition, when the user captures images in low light conditions in the photo, portrait, and Hyperlapse camera modes, the night mode will automatically turn on.
Finally, the Galaxy Note 20 series phones now allow users to change the background of portrait shots by using several newly added effects (including high-key monochrome, low-key monochrome, and background). Below, you can view the steps on how to manually update your phone.
