Starting this week, the Chinese tech giant has released the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for the Xiaomi 11T Pro device owners in India, meanwhile, the corresponding device owners are now obtaining a new update in the same country which bring the latest May 2023 Android security patch.
The May 2023 security update for Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone owners is currently live in India, however, the company will expand the reach of the patch to more users in the coming days. This new firmware will allow consumers to experience and enjoy the functionalities of the major software more seamlessly.
In addition, the patch will enhance the security and stability of the Xiaomi smartphone and protect it from harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults. It will also improve the core mechanism, in order to maintain the reliability of the system. Other than these advancements there is nothing new found in the official log.
Moving on, the latest security patch has arrived with the MIUI build version V14.0.3.0.TKDINXM. Simultaneously, it also carries a massive software package that weighs up to 4.8 Gigabytes. Hence, the corresponding device owners must opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data, for uninterrupted downloading.
However, it’s an initial rollout, and the update is released via OTA (over-the-air) method. Thus, it may take some time to reach every eligible unit in the country, just have patience and wait for your turn. Or you can even go with the manual downloading process through Settings > About Phone > System Update >MIUI Version > Download & Install.
