The Chinese tech giant is expanding the August 2023 Android security update for more users of Xiaomi 13 smartphones. On the other hand, the firm has also begun the September 2023 firmware rollout for some of its eligible devices including Redmi Note 11S, Note 11 Pro, POCO M4 Pro, and POCO X4 Pro 5G.
The August 2023 update will improve the overall reliability of your Xiaomi 13 device and enhance security grades for better and uplifted performance. It further resolves some common bugs and issues that are found in the system and boosts the general running of your device for improved user experience.

Notably, the update is released in Taiwan through the OTA method, which will take some time to get available for every eligible unit in the country. In this case, you can wait patiently, or you can perform the manual finding and downloading procedure.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on the About phone menu.
- Click on System and update.
- Press the MIUI version.
- Now, look for the latest version.
- Once you find it.
- Hit the Download button and Install the update.
