Xiaomi Mi 10 MIUI 14 update reaches more users
Xiaomi has started the beta rollout of the Android 14 software version for some of the recently launched flagships. On the flip side, the Chinese tech maker is also expanding the reach of the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update to the remaining eligible models and the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphones are the latest in this queue.
Xiaomi Mi 10 device owners have grabbed the MIUI 14 update in several markets and now the company is rolling out the software for owners living in Indonesia. Whereas, the company will not let other remaining users wait for too long everyone willing to enjoy the latest features and optimizations of the update.
Moving toward the details, the owners of Mi 10 will be able to identify the MIUI 14 update through the build V14.0.1.0.TJBIDXM and an installation package of around 4.5 Gigabytes. Simultaneously, it too carries the April 2023 Android security patch for better safety and improved reliability of the system.

Based on Android 13 the MIUI 14 update offers various cosmetic and performance-related changes for your Mi smartphone including new widget formats, big home screen folders that highlights the apps, advanced search in settings, enhanced personalization details, flexible and intuitive design, and more.
Other than this the update also brings some safety improvement elements such as on-device privacy, connected devices, back-end optimizations, and stronger performance while more space-saving and on-device text recognition. In addition, the update also offers the ability to block annoying app notifications.
However, the update is currently making its way in Indonesia through the OTA (Over The Air) channels. Hence, it will take a few days to cover all the eligible units in the region. In the meantime, you can knock on the doors of the update section in the Settings menu to install the build manually.
