Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, POCO M5S and POCO M3 grabbing December 2022 update
Xiaomi is rolling out its January 2023 security update in various markets around the world. On the other side, there are still some devices left that have not yet obtained the December 2022 update namely the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, POCO M5S and POCO M3 smartphones.
In a recent development, Xiaomi is releasing a December 2022 security update for a bunch of devices which includes POCO M5S, POCO M3, and Mi 11 Lite. The update changelog didn’t include any major features or changes for your device but it promises to enhance the reliability of your smartphones.

The update is rolling out in EEA for the Mi 11 Lite users, whereas, the POCO M5S owners are receiving the update in Turkey and Taiwan. Moving on, the POCO M3 smartphones are grabbing the update in Turkey, EEA, and Global markets, with a package of around 3.2GB.

The update is rolling out via the OTA method, so it may take time to reach your device, in case you do not want to want. Then you can install the update manually by following this simple step. Visit the Settings menu and select the About Phone section. Now click the System Updates option and wait for the device to complete its search for a new build. When available, tap on the Download & Install button.
