Xiaomi has already rolled out MIUI 12.5 stable update to a set of its eligible devices. Now, the company is rolling out a this major update for Mi CC9 Meitu Edition users, which brings a bunch of new features and optimizations for better device performance.

In early 2019, Xiaomi launched the exclusive Mi CC9 series in China. The lineup includes three devices and a limited edition model called the Mi CC9 Meitu variant. This phone is the latest smartphone from the Xiaomi Group to receive MIUI 12.5 update.
The Mi CC9 Meitu Edition MIUI 12.5 update is currently in the “Stable Beta” phase, and the firmware version number is V12.5.1.0.RFECNXM. It also introduced Android 11 on this phone.
For those who do not know, the MIUI Stable Beta has been released for only a few users. If the early adopters do not face any major issues, the status of these versions will be changed to “Stable” and gradually rolled out to all users.
The company will soon release the MIUI 12.5 update for Mi CC9. Once the device receives it, we can expect the Mi 9 Lite to get the MIUI 12.5 update as it is the name of the Mi CC9 for the global market.
