Xiaomi MIUI 14 testing for Redmi 9, 9T, Note 9 and POCO M3 moves a step ahead

Last month, Xiaomi began the internal testing of MIUI 14 software for the Redmi 9, Redmi 9T, Redmi Note 9, and the POCO M3 smartphones. Now, the testing has taken a step ahead and gives us the hint at the timeline, of when it will roll out for the smartphones.

According to the information, the Android 12-based MIUI 14 software is going to be the latest major update for the Redmi 9, Redmi 9T Redmi Note 9, and POCO M3 devices.  Additionally, the company has also shared the latest internal MIUI builds for all three devices.

The MIUI 14 update will offer various new features and improvements to the popular budget smartphone lineup. Including, a reimagined user interface with a minimalist look, a new sidebar, widgets, wallpapers, optimized applications, improved privacy, and much more.

For recall, the above-mentioned devices will not be able to enjoy the functionalities of Android 13. But the Android 12-based MIUI 14 will make the device owners happy. Now, here comes the question, when the owners of the mentioned devices will get this update?

The update is currently under testing and it will take some time to get prepared, and as per our information, it will be rolled out in the second quarter of 2023 for these all devices. Additionally, the update will be initially released for the Pilot testers and after ensuring stability it will have a broader rollout.
