Moving on, the April 2023 update for Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro has arrived with the MIUI build version V14.0.3.0.TMZ CNXM and V14.0.2.0.TMYCNXM respectively. Consequently, the update bears an installation package of around 5.0 Gigabytes and is live in China.
Xiaomi Pad 6 series specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro feature 11-inch IPS LCDs with 1800 x 2880 px resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate 16:10 aspect ratio. The Pro model gets a snappier 144Hz refresh rate while the vanilla retains the 120Hz, just like the Pad 5 series.
The Pro model of the lineup gets powered with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset while Pad 6 is equipped with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Both tablets boot MIUI Pad 14 based on Android 13. Additionally, the Pad 6 Pro brings an 8,600 mAh battery with 67W charging while the Pad 6 packs an even larger 8,840 mAh battery.
Moving on, the Pad 6 Pro gets a 50MP main camera on the back and a new 20MP front-facing sensor with auto-tracking. Whereas, the Pad 6 is left with a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera. Both tablets come with quad-speaker setups with Dolby Atmos.
However, Xiaomi Pad 6 series starts at CNY 1,999 (~ Rs 23,800) and are now available to buy in China.
