Xiaomi has started to rollout a new software update for Redmi 10 users globally. This update improves system security by installing the latest Android patch released in August 2021.

Previously, the device received an Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update with a bunch of new features for Global variants. It also optimized system performance so that users can have a better experience while using the phone
However, the new update doesn’t bring any new features or changes. As it is an initial rollout then it may take some time or days to reach all the device users. You can check the updated software version, download link, and changelog of this update.

Here’s how to check for updates manually
- From the Home Screen swipe down.
- Tap on Settings icon.
- Select About phone.
- Hit on MIUI version menu.
- Finally, click on Download update
