[Update: Global] Xiaomi Redmi 10 October 2021 security patch rolling out

Redmi 10 users are receiving a new software update with October 2021 security patch globally. The firmware version of this update is V12.5.8.0.RKUMIXM and users will have to download around 1GB software package to install the update.

October 22, 2021 

Xiaomi has begun releasing the October 2021 security patch for some of its devices in different regions. Now, the company is improving the system security of Redmi 10 devices by installing the latest patch.

However, the update is currently rolling out for Redmi 10 users in Russia and it will expand soon for all devices. There’s no new feature or change noted in the update.

October 2021 security update comes with the software version V12.5.3.0.RKURUXM and users will have to download a 4.6GB software update to install the update. You can get this update from the link mentioned below.
