Xiaomi has started to expand the August 2021 security patch for Redmi 9C users in Europe. This update improves the system security by installing the latest Android patch.
The firmware version of this update is V12.0.9.0.QCREUX and users will have to download a 1.8GB software package to install the update. You can download the update from the link mentioned below.

Xiaomi’s August 2021 security update is reaching more eligible devices in different regions. Now, as per the latest information, the Redmi 9C has begun receiving the August 2021 security patch for enhanced user experience.

The new firmware comes with latest MIUI 12 version V12.0.16.0.QCRMIXM and weighs 1.8GB. And the security improvements are all that it brings, rather than adding something new to the OS.
