Xiaomi is finally expanding the MIUI 12 Stable beta update for Redmi S2 users in Russia. This update comes with a set of new features and optimizations to enhance device performance.
MIUI 12 update for Redmi S2 comes with the Dark mode support for third party app, new Lite mode, casting function and more. It also optimizes Control center layout in landscape mode.
The firmware version of this update is V12.0.1.0.PEFRUXM and users will have to download a 1.7GB software package to install the update. Below you can check the changelog and download link of this update.

Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 12 update for Redmi S2 (Redmi Y2) users. This update brings a set of new features and improvements to enhance device performance.

The latest update is still based on Android 9 Pie. The device was scheduled to get updated to MIUI 12 in the third batch phase of the rollout. Some users have already reported receiving MIUI 12 on their devices.
The firmware version of this update for Redmi S2 is V12.0.4.0.PEFCNXM and users have to download an 837MB software package to install this update. You can also download the update from the link mentioned below.
