Xiaomi released Android 13 based MIUI 14 update for Redmi 12C

After a long testing phase, Xiaomi has now finally released the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for the Redmi 12C smartphones. This new update comes with a slew of outstanding features and cosmetic changes to take the user’s experience to a new level.

One of the key highlights of MIUI 14 is the big home screen folders that highlight the apps you need most making them accessible with a single tap. Users will also see the reimaged home screen, tabular icons, connected devices, and more after upgrading the phone to the latest version.

Based on Android 13 the MIUI 14 update for Redmi 12C has arrived with the build version 14.0.2.0.TCVINXM and the consumers will need to download an installation package of 3.1GB. Simultaneously, the changelog also mentions June 2023 security patch for optimized performance.

Moving on, the update is initially released in India and will expand to more region users in the coming days or weeks. Accordingly, the software is currently only available for Pilot testers.
