Xiaomi releases February 2022 security update to Redmi Note 11 series in various regions

Xiaomi has started expanding the February 2022 security patch for Redmi Note 11 series. Currently, this patch is rolling out in various regions through the medium of OTA. The regions where the security update is occurring are China, Europe, and India.

So far, the Chinese tech giant has rolled out its latest security patch to most of its devices ranging from extreme level to entry-level. For instance, Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Redmi 9, 9C, and so on. Consequently, these patches are distributed with the thought of better repairments and fixes to the device.

Build Version

The Redmi Note 11 series users are receiving February 2022 MIUI updates with identical build numbers as well as package size. Redmi Note 11 5G in China access the security update as V12.5.9.0.RGBCNXM with a size of 3.2GB. Whereas, Redmi Note 11 NFC users in Europe gain the security patch with version V13.0.7.0.RGKEUXM that carries 2.8GB size.

Further, Redmi Note 11 in India confirms the approach to update with build number V13.0.8.0.RGCINXM. Meanwhile, the package size of the update weighs up to 2.8GB. The patches that are appearing with MIUI 13 software have the onboard features of Android 11 for now.

The changelog of the security patch doesn’t arise with an exceptional feature. It only reveals a new security patch that resolves the bug fixes of the device. As well, increases the stability of the smartphone both internally and externally.

 Update Instructions

To update the Redmi Note 11 series with the latest security patch, head towards the Phone Menu and select the Settings icon. Click on the About Phone and then select System Updates.
