Xiaomi has begun releasing the MIUI 14 software update for the POCO M3 and POCO M3 Pro 5G smartphone users in India. The latest MIUI version brings various new additions to the user interface. On the flip side, it also enhances the performance efficiency of the respective devices.
Notably, the POCO M3 smartphone owners are grabbing the MIUI 14 update with the Android 12 operating system. Whereas, the company has released this latest MIUI 14 update for the POCO M3 Pro 5G variant uprooted with Android 13. Users will be able to identify the update via the builds mentioned below.
- POCO M3 – V14.0.2.0.SJFINXM
- POCO M3 Pro 5G – V14.0.2.0.SKSINXM
MIUI 14 brings a bundle of cosmetic and performance-related changes to your device such as the reimagined home screen, super icons, big folders, advanced search in settings, connected devices, on-device privacy, back-end optimizations, improved security, new widgets, stronger performance and much more.
Other than this the update also brings the April 2023 Android security patch that will enhance the security and stability of the system and make it more secure. It’s worth mentioning that, besides the above-mentioned elements the POCO M3 Pro 5G model users will experience some more advancements such as the ability to block annoying app notifications.
However, the update is rolling out in India, through the OTA method, thus it may take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country. Hence, if you don’t want to wait, then you can check for the latest patch manually through Settings > About Phone > System and Update > MIUI version > Download & Install.
Note – The update carries a giant software package that weighs around 3.4 Gigabytes. Hence, the corresponding device owners are suggested to opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.
