Xiaomi surprised the consumers of the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone by dispatching the improvements and fixes of the September 2023 Android security patch.
To be mentioned, the device was earlier added to the EOS list, then just after a few days, the firm again removed the phone from its End Of Support list, however, the reason behind this is still unknown.
Moving on, the changelog of the update only mentioned some security enhancements and bug fixes for the device. But we can assume that the latest September 2023 update must bring some major changes and improvements for the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone.
Consequently, the latest patch is rolling out in Taiwan at the moment and will expand to more region users soon. The consumers of the corresponding model can identify the patch through V14.0.4.0.SJZTWXM build version and need to download a 2.8GB package.
To access the latest enhancements just visit the Settings app on your phone and tap on the About Phone option. Now, click on the System Updates menu and press MIUI version. Once you find the latest version, hit the Download tab and Install the update.
