At the end of December 2021, Xiaomi launched MIUI 12.5, the next MIUI version, in China at the Mi 11 launch event, and its global version introduced in early February. As per the information, it will soon be launched for Indian variants.

Xiaomi is rolling out a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.4.16 in China. The latest beta update brings fixes some known issues and also improves system stability.
Previously, the beta update added a video download progress bar prompt and optimizes the layout effect of the Reading Mode for clearer reading as well as improves the browser performance.
