The tech world is been buzzing with the recent listing of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which shows support for a downgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 12GB RAM. However, SamMobile has finally separated fact from fiction and put a full stop to all these misleading claims.

According to the information, the model which is been shown on the Geekbench was the Galaxy S23 Ultra and not the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Yes, the device was the Japanese variant of Galaxy S23 Ultra that carries the SCG20 model number.

Overall, it has been confirmed that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will not feature the old Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and there might not be a 12GB RAM variant. The Geekbench entry was simply false and has caused unnecessary confusion among tech enthusiasts.

However, specific details about the sixth generation of clamshell devices are still under wraps, but we can still anticipate an impressive device that builds upon the success of its predecessor.
