Samsung’s Exynos 2500 SoC could beat Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 efficiency, thanks to 3nm process

Samsung seems to take the game of performance and efficiency to new heights with the next generation of Exynos SoC. Yes, the rumors of Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2500 processor’s potential to outshine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in terms of power efficiency are hovering on the web.

Samsung will continue its dual SoC strategy with the Galaxy S25 series as well, which means the standard and plus models of the Galaxy S25 series boast Exynos 2500 in some markets, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in remaining. Whereas, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will go fully with a Snapdragon chipset.

It’s worth noting that, the efficiency of Galaxy devices powering Exynos chip was considered low in comparison to Snapdragon versions. But this will not go any longer, as a recent input suggests that, Exynos 2500 with a second-generation 3nm process could beat Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in power efficiency.
